Lesson Five • Live Life Fully
Play hard. Work hard. Relax. Get excited. Eat. Sleep.
When you do it. Do it!
Lesson Four • Wag From The Heart
There’s no pretence in the wag of a dog’s tail.
They don’t care about who you think you are, or who you say you are - only who you really are.
Lesson Three • Let It Go
When a dog growls and scraps he’s fully into it, but when it’s over, it’s over.
Their love and enjoyment of life is not compromised by holding on to the past.
Lesson Two • Live Radiantly In The Moment
It’s always amazing to see the contrast between a dog going out for a walk and the human that is along for the ride.
Many times I see someone walking sadly with eyes downcast as their dog seems thrilled with the simple circumstance of being outside and walking.
Lesson One • Love Is Real And Love Is Forever
If you’ve ever had a dog, this one is self-evident. If you haven’t - get one.
I want to live with you. I want to live in an apartment decorated with pictures of us. I want to wake up every day by your side. I want to kiss your cheek and whisper good morning in your ear. I want to prepare your breakfast. I want make you laugh in the morning. I want to put strawberries in your mouth. I want to tell you I love you. I want to take you to the shower. I want to slip my hand through every part of your body. Before I go to work, I want to pull your hand and kiss you again. I want to think of you until it’s time to go home. I want to call you and ask if everything is fine. I want to take home something you like to eat. I want to get home and kiss you. I want to take a shower with you again. I want to eat some candy in our bed full of pillows. I want to watch anything on television hugging you. I want to sleep smelling your neck. I want you.
